seiz whaa?

I’m doing a mini presentation on monday about the things i wish i had thought of - and i remembered this brilliatn idea by a couple of illustrators that i for some reason i never blogged!

The idea is really straightforward - ” I want an iPhone - I’ll draw an iPhone - I’ll sell the drawing for the prince of an iPhone “

it’s so good, that i thought it would never work. - but a year or so on the kids have sold an absurd amount of ‘wants’!

Brett Ryder’s illustrations are so so good. (im beginning to tire of people cutting up old victorian almanacs - black and white dullness. However, this 60’s medical annuals seem to contain a fauna of awesomeness) 

idiot boy while drunk decides to give his ‘ticket stub’ to chromeo to sign - only to realise its actually his twenty pound note… :(

how much are ‘celeb’ signatures worth? could i ebay this? willl it even reach the £20 level in bids? mmm…. 

giving me the whole eco trip when it probably takes 100 times more oil to make that shitty plasticated fridge magnet!…  stop trying to transparently jump onto the ‘green bandwagon!’

- to be honest i dont really care about you non poluters or how much space your chickens have to roam around

Bruce Wilhelm does the most awesome multi layered oil painting I have seen.

Saying that - I’ve never seen this done before.. but i love it!

Wow - I looked around the office yesterday and I thought “where did all these people come from?”

Work Club has grown from 5 people in a broom closet to 32 people in a loft!

I just wish they weren’t all so HOTTT - it makes the design team look slightly fugly..

I was watching the The Green Room’ the other day so being the nerd i am - i followed through with the ol’ ‘intermaweb research’ - which led me to find the best interviewing ‘character’ ever (as cynical as i am i actually think its a real person NOT a character!)

as a fan of Andy Kauffmann and all things awkward - i was chuffed when i found this website today! - it looks like early days - but the interviews seem to be painfully funny.

is timeless stuff timeless because it is above ‘style’

or

it never goes out of style because we recycle ‘style’ so much it is practically impossible for it be out of style for more than a decade..

My stupid message on indiv M&Ms!! my logo, my message - or i can even just select my favourite ones (yellow) and have a bag full of JUST yellow M&Ms!

look out for FAIL M&Ms to hand out to the design team! (cause we fully fail all the time!) :D

Tight dealines, all nighters, beers, pasta and sofa sleeping..

and the reward we get is Charlie circulating photos of our ‘not-so-glorious-selves’ fully out of it on the couch. :)
